Science SEA Basic Package
Marine Science, Scuba Education & Real-World Adventure
Science SEA Basic is an exciting four-week marine science and scuba education program designed for students ages 12–18 who are ready to explore the underwater world while building valuable knowledge, confidence, and diving skills.
This accelerated program combines marine science education, classroom instruction, pool training, and open water diving to provide students with a strong foundation in recreational scuba diving and marine conservation.
Students learn from experienced PADI instructors while exploring marine ecology, ocean conservation, fish identification, buoyancy, navigation, dive safety, emergency preparedness, and environmental stewardship.
A Complete Scuba Education Experience
Even though Science SEA Basic is an accelerated program, students receive comprehensive training and work toward multiple internationally recognized certifications.

Homeschool & Educational Enrichment

College credit is available for most PADI courses, and eligible families may qualify for reimbursement through approved state scholarship programs.

Science SEA Academy
A Full Semester of Diving Education, Marine Science & Career Preparation
Science SEA Academy is the most comprehensive version of our Science SEA program. Designed for students ages 12–18, the Academy provides an entire semester of structured marine science education, professional scuba training, supervised field experience, and advanced skill development.
Students attend Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 2 through April 29, giving them the time and repetition needed to master diving skills, gain real-world experience, and develop into confident, responsible divers.

The Science SEA Basic Package provides an accelerated introduction to marine science and foundational scuba certification.
Science SEA Academy expands that experience into a full-semester educational program with advanced certifications, specialty training, additional dives, personal equipment, and greater emphasis on leadership and career preparation.

Your Own Scuba Equipment
Academy students receive a complete personal scuba equipment package to keep.
The equipment package includes:

Students learn how to properly fit, assemble, inspect, use, clean, maintain, and care for their own equipment throughout the semester.
10 Additional Lab Dives
The Academy provides significantly more time in the water.
In addition to required certification-training dives, students participate in five dedicated lab-dive outings for a total of 10 additional dives.
These supervised dives allow students to apply their skills in real diving environments while developing:
